Laser tattoo removal

The q-switched laser allows the removal of permanent tattoos. laser, with the ability to selectively target the dark pigments, destroys the pigment of the tattoo causing it then phagocytosis by macrophages dermal.

And ‘well, to be fair, to highlight some important concepts:

  • the laser only removes dark pigments such as black, dark blue and gray, not yellow, red, green.
  • the tattoo is never completely removed but there always remains a sort of “shadow”
  • ideal for the purpose of use of this laser is to light up a touch to cover it later with another.
  • it takes at least 4-8 sessions depending on the type of tattoo
